Performance Testing Web IDE

A User-Friendly Platform for Testing Web Applications .This project was developed as part of my work at the Julius Maximilian University of Würzburg. The goal was to design a web-based IDE that simplifies and automates the performance testing of web applications.

• Problem: Traditional command-line tools for conducting load tests are often cumbersome and error-prone for both software testers and system administrators. Key challenges include:
  • High effort in managing and maintaining test scripts and multiple projects
  • Difficulty in tracking the parallel execution of multiple scripts
  • Long execution times when running tests simultaneously on multiple servers
  • Lack of structured result analysis and automation
• Solution: Web IDE
  • Organizes and executes test experiments easily.
  • Manages server credentials centrally.
  • Supports automated job scheduling and parallel execution.
  • Provides real-time output and structured result views.

Technologies Used

• Frontend: React.js
• Backend: Spring Boot (Java)
• Database: MariaDB
• Other Tools: Node.js for script processing
